When you want to import orders in bulk you have two option during the import:

• Active Orders
• Legacy Orders

Active Orders

Active orders are those orders for which you want the inventory to be reduced when the orders are imported. Orders imported as active orders which result in inventory getting reduced for those orders. You should use active orders template for those order which you want to import and keep a record of sales against which inventory should be reduced.

Legacy Orders

Legacy orders do not reduce inventory. You can use legacy orders to keep a record of the order for accounting and invoicing purposes. Legacy orders are orders received in the past and where you don't want it to reduce the current inventory count.
